- Field Research Group
- Horticulture Research Group
- Documentation Research Group
Each group is composed by experts, researchers and academics with experience in various disciplines in the field of agriculture, especially for plant production and plant breeding. Experts and academics are engaged in genebank activities, scientific research as well as in teaching programs.
Field Research Group
Field Research Group performs activities related to plant genetic resources as collecting, multiplication, regeneration, characterization and evaluation on Cereal crops, Forages crops, Industrial crops, and Medicinal and Aromatic plants. This group also includes Germplasm management section which perform activities about sample processing, germplasm testing, registration and conservation of ex situ germplasm.
Horticulture Research Group
Horticulture Research Group performs activities related to plant genetic resources as collecting, multiplication, regeneration, characterization and evaluation on vegetables crops, fruit trees, and grape, subtropical plants, olive and citrus.
Documentation Research Group
